Dr Priyanka Karine is a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist dedicated to providing holistic, evidence-based care across all stages of a woman’s reproductive life. With expertise in both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, Dr Karine supports women from preconception through to postpartum and beyond. She has a particular interest in managing complex pregnancies affected by maternal or fetal conditions, and is highly experienced in antenatal and gynaecological ultrasounds.

In addition to obstetric care, Dr Karine offers comprehensive gynaecological services including the management of PCOS, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis and menopause. She is also trained in performing both obstetric and gynaecological ultrasounds at the Centre for Women’s Ultrasound. Dr Karine is passionate about education and has been actively involved in teaching medical students and junior doctors throughout her training and beyond.

Dr Karine began her medical career in India, graduating with an MBBS from Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad, and gaining valuable experience in a high-risk teaching hospital. Since moving to Australia in 2010, she has completed her residency in Darwin. Dr Karine completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training, including advanced training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine as a Fellow at both Westmead and Nepean hospitals. She has served as Clinical Superintendent at Nepean Hospital and currently works as a Visiting Medical Officer at Liverpool Hospital. Dr Karine is currently pursuing a diploma in diagnostic ultrasound and will soon obtain her qualification as a professional sonologist.

She is fluent in English, Telugu, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi.
